I saw the Goggomobil Coupe parked at the small Turkish hotel in Istanbul we used every weekend in the late 1950s...and it had German number plates - that had to be a long drive !

@granskare That was almost certain Peter and Marlotte Backhaus' Goggo !! Was it just as mine red with a white top? They made with the Goggo coupé and Glas Goggomobil Isar 700 a trip around the world between 1957 and 1962. There's a book and film about it. Google their names and find out! Cheers, Andre.

Looks like the Isetta accelerates a little faster but the other one is faster.

@boboblocks No! the Isetta cheated...look closely! The Isetta starts 1 sec. before the Goggo! :))

It seems that in the long run the Goggomobil has a higher top speed, but the acceleration is pretty much the same.

way to go! The Isetta was sold here in theUK with only one rear wheel so that it could be driven with only a motorcycle license.
