Mary and Elizabeth got along quite well when they were younger, it wasn't until they were older and Mary realized Elizabeth was a threat that the relationship went south. Mary never sighed a death warrant though, showing that she was unable to kill her sister. I loved Tudor history, and have done a lot of research on it.

I HATE the way Elizabeth is ALWAYS made to be the most important and/or compassionate and tolerant one. She wasn't. Get over it.

I think it's sad how the course of Mary's life was and how Elizabeth is always placed above her. She was a great Queen and I am not doubting it, but I believe if Henry would have only treated Mary better and she was able to have a more fulfilling life with people she loved and those who loved her back I think History could have been different. I don't know a lot about the Tudors, I am still learning. But from what I know I can say Mary was cheated in her young life of true happiness.

@CorieFaulkner And yes, Elizabeth was admired and loved by most who met her because of her piousness, quick witt, intelligence, and smart conversation, even as a 13 yr old. She was the most intelligent of all the Tudors combined, except maybe Jane Grey, who was almost her equal but was beheaded by her cousin Queen Mary. Furthermore, Elizabeth never held grudges like Mary did and was able to forgive and move on.

@CorieFaulkner Elizabeth was wiser though, she knew what her people wanted and guaranteed the preservation of it. Most of the English were Protestant. Elizabeth tried to also compromise with the Catholics in her religious covenant, but not everyone was going to be satisfied. Better that than trying to burn all the Catholics as Mary tried to do to the Protestants. Elizabeth was ruled by the head, Mary by the heart.

Where can I find the continustion of this scene where Queen Catherine talks to Elzabeth's governess about finding a Protestant tutor for Elizabeth and Edward?

thought Catherine Parr was really nice too them, but itz sad to think she died a year later in child birth, and that her hubby Jane Seymourz bruv Thomas had a full on affair with Elizabeth when she came to live with them!!!!!!! Got 2 admire all the wives though, even slaggy onez like Katherine Howard. Liked Anne Boleyn though!:D
