Unlike kettlebells, these can be slammed (with no bounce-back) and mould nicely to the body due to the sand which is a big selling point. Chucking these things around is so much fun and knackering at the same time! Definitely give them a go! For higher weights for moves such as swings, you can't beat a kettlebell but comparing the two is a little like comparing a dumbbell and a barbell.
