MADD About Dancing at Mohegan Sun

Mohegan Sun hosted MADD About Dancing on Wednesday, September 30th. Local celebrities Acaicia Courtney, Connecticut's Outsanding Teen 2009, NBC Personality Brad Drazen, State Comptroller Nancy Wyman, Bruce "Two Dogs" Bozsum of the Mohegan Tribe, Fox 61's Rachel Lutzker, Multi-Platinum Country Recording Artist Billy Gilman, Miss Connecticut Sharalyn Kuziak, WCTY's Jimmy Lane, Country Star Stephanie Hansen and Lt. J.Paul Vance of the Connecticut State Police teamed up with Arthur Murray instructors in the event to raise money for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Each celebrity performed two dances for judges Desiree Fontaine, WTNH News Channel 8 Anchor, Elissa Bass, Breaking News Editor and TV columnist for TheDay.com, and David Rosinski, Former U.S. National and World Champion in Theater Arts.

Country star and Dancing with the Stars alum Julianne Hough also performed at the event and presented trophies to winners Acacia Courtney, Connecticut's Outstanding Teen 2009 and multi-platinum country recording artist Billy Gilman.
