SeaQuest DSV: You've Got A Friend

"In Loving Memory of Roy Scheider (10/11/32 - 10/02/08) and Jonathan Brandis (13/4/76 - 12/11/03)"

This Music Video was done some time ago, but I only recently came across it on my hardrive. Hope this is a fitting memorium to not only both men but also to the two characters they portrayed on SeaQuest DSV.

No infringement is intended, just a simple nod of affection to both men.

The music I used is an instrumental version of "You've Got A Friend" by James Taylor.

@DizzySteps2U Season 1 Episode 16 Whale Song. It is just after Bridger returns to Seaquest to deal with the sub that is sinking whaling ships. Quit the controversial episode and a thoroughly good one too, in my opinion :-)

I really liked the relationship between Lucas and Bridger in Seaquest. But it could have been picked out more as a central theme.

I too thoroughly enjoyed the relationship between Lucas and Bridger on Seaquest. It was the main reason I watched, and the ultimate reason why I stopped watching as well - because what little I saw of Season 3 they had basically decimated the Lucas character and because Roy Scheider was no longer the lead, there was little Bridger and Lucas - Just a couple of episodes I think.

I'm afraid he committed suicide. A friend of his found him in his apartment. He had hung himself, though apparently he didn't die until the next day. Very very sad. :-(

Roy Scheider always reminds me of my father. He passed away in 05. I know Roy has starred in several roles but the 2 that stick out in my mind are that of NAthan Bridger in Seaquest (The first 2 seasons were great) and Frank Castle Sr in the Punisher
