Some of the basic techniques in Scientology involve a person yelling at you as you sit still & do not respond to any of it for 2 hours. Another is the similar, but you say "Thank you" as a response to everything said to you. These excersices prepare you for a life of taking abuse from others, & saluting the leader's dog.
