Every day we become more like the United states, Watch what happens.. they will enforce the Law, but money for rehabilitation will be spent through religious organizations. Watch the video again...Why is the Salvation Army symbol so prominent? They want the money for their religious "rehabilitation" programs.

The iiligality of soft drugs like pot forces casual users to depend on and interact with the people most likely to have more dangerous substances. Watching this made me want to smoke a big joint.

"Canada needs to take the trade out of the hands of organized crime, out of the purview of petty criminals, and regulate its sale and use. That would eliminate the criminal element of the problem, and put the health problem front and centre where it can be openly dealt with. Unfortunately, no serious political party has the courage to campaign on that today." -Winnipeg Free Press
"What needs to be changed is the approach to illegal drugs. Canada needs to take the trade out of the hands of organized crime, out of the purview of petty criminals, and regulate its sale and use. That would eliminate the criminal element of the problem, and put the health problem front and centre where it can be openly dealt with. Unfortunately, no serious political party has the courage to campaign on that today." -Winnipeg Free Press

4 minutes in, someone claimed that marijuana could be mixed with other chemicals. However, shouldn't that if anything be an argument for legalizing it? After all, only if we legalize it can we regulate it, so as to test the marijuana before it is distributed to find out which samples of marijuana have been mixed with other chemicals. I don't smoke marijuana myself, but I think it'd be interesting to see how much of what our society attributes to it has more to do with society's reaction to it...
