That way of acting is typical also here, so I dind't put much count on that. So how about just ingnoring it when it comes to this clip. You do it your way, we do it this way here. The music is the main point in both cases anyway...

The rhythmic applause you refer to is typical of eastern European countries. It would not be embarrassing to a Hungarian artist, and the audience is appreciative (not retarded).

Actually, it's a habit everywhere in the world to clap this way when asking for an encore. The Debussy was an encore, which she played because the audience was clapping this way.
