A product review video for the Grey leather 2 Unfold bag by HardGraft of Austria. I used a 15" unibody Macbook Pro for all of my referencing in the video, any other questions please comment! If you enjoyed the review, be sure to check out the sites I mentioned:

  • Hey, just ordered the gray 2unfold and i'm surprised at how brown it looks. From the photos on the site and your video it looks like a cool gray instead of the warm grey color. Does yours look warm in person? Thanks

  • @japhethm Hey, a few people have mentioned that it has a brown hue. I've not noticed, but maybe it's because I insist it's grey -- maybe I'm being ignorant? I'd say it most likely depends on how warm (color temperature wise) the light you're standing in is. In direct sunlight it is certainly a very light grey and it's possible the light could bring out a brown hue. In cool florescent lights I'd say t's a sharp mid-tone grey. All the same, it's certainly not going to be confused as tan brown.

  • Fantastic review. Two questions though:

    1. Why did you choose grey over brown? Just curious.

    2. Can I use it as a messenger bag with MacBook Air 13?

    Thanks in advance,

    Alan

P.S. So the total was 630+50, correct?

  • @GoldfrappUS I just felt like brown wasn't my style. No significance in color choice; simply preference. Yes, it would work very nicely as a messenger bag (folded in half) for the 13" MBA. The total was -585.28 (paypal) and -45.60 (UPS import fee) = 630.88

  • Tnx for the review ;), the website didn't really give much more info then a couple of pictures so it's nice to see a detailed review. Am thinking of purchasing it too, but the only thing holding me back is that it won't fit my macbook pro if you use it as a messenger bag :s and it's really expensive but on the upside you get really good quality and an exclusive product :D

  • @Maximillion225 carrying it as a briefcase with my MBP in it vertically has become one of my favorite ways to carry it. You'll appreciate that it's smaller for carrying around papers / notebooks when you don't need your MBP.

  • Very good mate ... at HardGraft website there's no lots of plus information about the product. Details always are welcome !!

Unfortunately the price mekes me give up to purchase it here in brazil. The bag will costs about R$ 1.000,00 :( ....

  • thanks for the review, wished the site had something like that, sometimes it's difficult to see the full design with just the pictures

  • yes very sexy

  • @japhethm Mine is the same way - much more brown that I expected based on the website and this video. Disappointing as I would have just ordered black if I had known. Great bag otherwise though - just a bit bummed about the browning nature of the grey.

  • Hey, Eric, fantastic review! There's one thing I meant to tell you a while ago though: as a backpack, you're supposed to put the belt through ONE handle only. That way, you shouldn't have too much trouble pulling your laptop out as the belt won't be too much in the way. Check their website, it's got a shot of it as a backpack. :)

  • @TrickSession Thanks again. Most likely, I'll end up buying this bag anyway. Take care. :)

  • @GoldfrappUS Bag: €389.00 + shipping: €53.00 + import duty: $45.60 = my total... maybe the exchange rate was better when I bought it? Just buy it, it was worth it ;-)

  • @TrickSession Thx for answering my questions. As far as the total is concerned, I'm still wondering as to how your total (excluding import fee) came up to only $585 since their website states the bag price of €389 (~$546) + shipping to U.S. €53 (~$74). That alone makes it $620 (excluding import fee). Your price just doesn't add up. Sorry for being so anal. Just trying to save money wherever & whenever possible. At the same time, I want this bag so badly, it gives me chills just by looking at it.
