@tedoloverbaby i work at a barn... ponies are demons in a cute exterior don't knock it since it really only hurts the people.

Cruel? Oh please... Those poor little ponies are all a hell of a lot fatter than my horses, and I can really see the terror as they're all standing calmly at the other side of the arena.
-
I live in red deer :D
First of all.. Everyone who says it's cruel, well these kids are helping break and gentle a mini pony so later in their life they can do pony rides and stuff like that. It may seem cruel and mean but how do you gentle or break a everyday horse? Well you throw a rope around it's neck and back him. These kids are given a few seconds to jump on and see how long they last. Soo compare it. If THIS is cruel, then breaking horses all together is cruel.

The ponies throw the women just as fast as they do the kids. Don't mess with a pony.

Ok these ponies are obviously struggling! this is not a funny or so you call it "fun sport" to do! it is animal cruelty and if you think its fun your really messed in the head these ponies DON'T look like they are having as much fun as you guys are ! this "sport" should be banned! no animal should be treated like this!

Those poor animals even if they arent injured are terrorized and scared! Any ways i dont care if people are more likely to get injured they agreed to take part you people just scare the crap out of them then jump of them and force the horses to carry you its sick

WPCA??
Hmm, is that World Protection.. (something) Animalss?
Rather cruel..
:/
First off, I am not partaking in the event. Second of all, if you don't like it, don't watch it, it's as simple as that. I think hunting is cruel, but no one is banning that.

To each his own. I don't want to change your opinions, so if you don't like the pony races, no one is going to force you to watch it. :)

World professional chuckwagon association. The ponies were all fine, like all rodeo events, people are more likely to be injured than the animals, but thank you for expressing your concern. The wild pony races at the WPCA benefit charities. :)
