Journey to the End of the Earth: Antarctica, Patagonia, Buenos Aires

PLU Professor Charles Bergman talks about the exciting adventure students take part in during Study Away in Antarctica.

The Course: Imagine this: you are on a boat that has crossed from the southern tip of South America and have just sighted the great continent of Antarctica. Already on the boat you've seen many species of whales - killer whales, blue whales, and humpback whales. You climb into the small boats to go ashore, to wander amid the thousands of penguins and seals. The landscape is exhilarating; the abundant wildlife is spectacular beyond belief. Antarctica will be the culmination of a once-in-a-lifetime chance to explore the world.
