  • My dad had a red '68 Eldo. Looked exactly like the '67 except for minor details like parking lamps built into the front fender peaks and a "halo" vinyl top. Very pretty car, but no big deal to drive -- just another big, wallowy American car with numb power steering, typical of its time.

  • The 67 eldorado drives nothing like the 68 and up. in fact customers complained so much so that they changed the suspension in 68. My 67 has no float of bounce. I drives very much like my 66 Toronado. I have a 68 Eldorado as well.

  • That's about to be my first car. Custom, all black.

  • White is wrong color for that car. Looks like a cow.

  • @BlueGryphnix its tough but you are going to have look for a year or better. Condition is everything, buy the best example you can afford!

  • I can't see how anyone could make a negative comment about this car--it's a work of art....and they rode beautifully. This car was not made for taking corners like a sports car, it's luxury at its finest.

  • Such an awesome looking car... such a shame the El Doradoes are all FWD :(

  • @eldoguy66 Didn't these cars go through front tires all the time because something about the front-end design wasn't perfected?

  • This is my favorite old school car I NEED TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO GET ONE!

  • for any hot wheels collectors out there, this is the car they copied to make the Sugar Caddy in 1971 during the redline years.

  • I'm amazed that no one has corrected you sooner. GM was not the first to front wheel drive in the US. Miller and Cord are the most famous examples of American FWD vehicles, both from the 1920-30's.
