Awesome halau, and I have seen this Kumu and his Halau in Hawai'i perform at the shell on 'Oahu. It was awesome! He did this song that he composed and it was well played and sung by the Kumu and his Musicians. I dont know the name of the song, but I hope I hear again in the future.

To msingold, Namamo sells the DVDs to raise money to help perpetuate the Hawaiian culture and the DVD sells for $48 a piece. In a sense by sneaking in a video camera, you're taking away money from an organization that helps preserves the Hawaiian culture, how aloha is that?

I'm glad you got some video! They were SO rude about cameras. I understand there shouldn't be any flashes, but to be rude (no aloha whatsoever) and prohibit any still/video camera just so they can seriously overcharge ($150) for their video is absolutely pathetic!
