Nurse sharks are relatively harmless. They won't attack you if they see you. They're pretty docile, but if you provoke them then yeah they will attack you.

Yes, in tell it bites your hand, i had a 3 feet nurse shark in my 300 gallon, they have a saw row of teeth you can't really see them because they are farther back. but harmless, no i don't think so

You are welcome! The best part about shark fishing is watching them swim away, if the sharks are not stressed we try to tag them for others to research. No shark is harmless, nurse sharks can take a chunk out of your body if handled incorrectly.
