I've done some work that you will like? your manifold has two surfaces, it is not really a mobius strip....BUT. When you cut it lengthwise by 1/3, you get a 3 flip mobius strip! The loop with 8 twists and a trefoil knot can be reduced to a 3 flip mobius strip. No surprise, the manifold had 3 single flips betweem its poles. Also the knot diagrams has 6 crossings and its lovely that the figure you make has 6 sides. 2N+2=8. WOW......Very good work, you got me interested again. Video reply to follo
