Thank you for this video! When it started, I thought "If I had a pattern, I wouldn't need a how-to video", but I let it play and saw the key elements that I had not been thinking of. I did not use a pattern, and I had to re-do the gathering and the width of apron vs width of waist band a couple of times, but I got what I was hoping for in the end.  I also need a little cape, and I'm VERY HAPPY to see you have one on your site! Thanks
