@MARTlANxMADNESS I agree. I also enjoyed Homecoming myself and thought it was still a decent addition to the series. I actually had fun with the action, but the backtraking and linearity was what put me off, and several times had you running just to get from point A to point B, like in the cemetery. I still thought it was good, but, in my opinion, it was the weakest main game in the series.

@Winston1547 I personally liked homecoming but if you asked me it's biggest flaw was the fact that it was too action oriented and a bit too linear. While most silent hills have you backtracking and searching to find and use the tools required to progress homecoming seemed to opt more for give you the tools while getting too said location. There was still backtracking involved but not as much as other Silent hill titles(of course this is only my opinion)

What's funny is that many people say this game was completely horrible and the worst of the series when in fact it received a critical reception almost as great as the first three games, and it sold rather decently. Unlike Homecoming, which Konami couldn't even get released in Japan and it being the least received title in the series. Not saying that Homecoming is bad, though.
