"I basically jumped in without any rehearsal in a production that is still available because there are videos," he said [Ferruccio Furlanetto], enunciating slowly in his sonorous, dark-toned speaking voice. @Sieglinde84 I've heard Furlanetto live in this role three times. He's the most brilliant Filippo ever. A friend told me that when she saw him live in this role, the little girl who was sitting next to her didn't move a muscle all during this scene, she was so entranced with Furlanetto's performance.
