actually its been around since vbrawl but it kinda sucked, so they shortened the landing lag on wiz kick to make it useful, its called quake by the way

What is that move that Ganon is doing at around 2:49-2:51? It looks kind of like he punched the ground or something, an effect appeared as well.

That ground pound was something added for Brawl+. It's done by doing a wizard kick immediately after jumping.
