@TheGimpPimp1 the reaspn that the cat attacks is probobly that in many parts of the world so does people belive that the cats are one of the guardians of the underworld and death . they can see an smell and hear ghost , demons , ghosts and things like that . and thats includes the big cats as tigers , and lions

@TheGimpPimp1 Cats can sense vampirism for some reason. It wasn't something that was really explained in the book or movie.
