People don't need much knowledge of WW2 to realize the USA at that point in history was the critical lever to save a world in flames. Try this little exercise. Eliminate all elements of American participation in WW2. No Lend Lease to any nation, no soldiers overseas, nothing. Then think about how WW2 could have turned out. After 9/11, almost every house had a flag flying and 3 months later, more than 75 percent had forgotten what happened. We still have brothers and sisters dying everyday to help give freedom from a group of thugs who are nothing but ignorant fools. Most who disagree with the wars are generally ignorant to the facts at hand but if they were in someone else's shoes they would definitely appreciate the help to help give freedom to everyone.

What you people need to look at is how he promised so much before he was elected and how he hasn't produced at all. The fact that he's always on TV and not doing his job, the fact that he has called us a "Muslim Nation" and apologized for things that needed no apology. He has only surrounded himself with complete total failures to ensure the downfall of America and if you haven't noticed since his election, its not looking pretty.

For years and years, America has come to the rescue of nations under tyrannous rein. It is true that we didn't enter WW2 until the Japanese attacked us but have you ever thought about the fact that if YOU were the one who were to send thousands upon thousands to war knowing they would lose many souls? Thats not an easy task. It is a very hard decision than most will never have to make.

By the way if you remember your history America did not go to war for the sake of saving the Europeans, who also fought their hearts out. We entered the war due to a direct attack by the Japanese. We, for most of the war, were an isolated nation.
