@battenfelder I like both too but Dragon Ball Z completely overshadows Dragon Ball in popularity (especially in the west). I knew a lot of people who didn't even bother to watch Dragon Ball because they were introduced to the series on Toonami and thought it was just a "Pup Named Scooby Doo" version of DBZ, not knowing or caring that it was actually made first. Hell, go type in "Dragon Ball" on ANY search and see how may results for the original series you get!

@Treyworld Personally I agree, Dragon Ball is an overall better show. However, I still liked DBZ, I just hated how the fights seemed to drag out ridiculously long -.-

Back when Dragonball was about finding the dragon balls, Goku still didn't know didley squat of the world, and krilin was tiny.... wait nvm that last one.

This was the good Dragon ball, before they felt the need to make everyone "badass"

After that, it got lame.
