Adam's POV

"OWIE!!" I whip my head around to find nick on the ground clutching his bleeding knee. Ben was the first one next to him, the rest of us came lastly running.
"what happend?" I asked falling to my knees next to him, I looked up at one of the other boys for an answer.
"we were bored, so we decided to see who could hop the farthest over the chairs...and well nicky won" ben whispered holding nick's hand for brotherly comfort
"is that true nicholas? Cause I could've sworn that I told you NOT to jump over the chairs, because you'd get hurt...see what happens" kevin jumped in
He nodded quietly "hey Joseph, Michael can you please grab the first aid kit from the truck please! I think I left one in there" being a part time paramedic sure pays off. They hopped up and were back in a minute
"thanks boys...alright nicky, can I take a look at your knee please?"
He uncovered his now bloody hand to reveal dirt and blood on his skinned up knee. These boys are just as graceful as a ballerina..not!!
I cleaned up his knee and dabbed abit of alcohol on the dirt infested areas, to keep from infection. He never cried out when I did...I think its Joseph or Michael that hates it?
"there all done buddy" I helped him up and everyone else got up too seeing as there wasn't that big of an issue there anymore.
"anyone else caught playing on or around the chairs will be caught..and punished!" kevin warned
"isn't that like a threat?" ben asked no one imperticular
"nah, I think its more of an empty threat" joe and michael snickered
I rolled my eyes "keep talking Joseph and I'll show you what I really ment"
His eyes got wide and he ran off with Michael...nick and ben opted for sitting down.
"one more day kev..and we get to head home! with REAL showers!" I laughed
"your telling me...I miss my coffee" he pouted
"hey ady, kev? can we go for a night hike tonight??" ben asked...him and nick were 'secretly' chatting, as if no one can hear them.
"yeah I guess we can all go" I looked at kev
"well um we ment...just the four younger kids.." nick whispered
"and your absoultly positive you don't need your big brothers to tag along for support?" kevin asked
"yep! completely positive..were all grown up" nicky smiled
That is true...our baby brothers, really weren't babies anymore?
"alright fine I guess you can...go get Joseph and Michael and we'll discuss where you will go"
"thanks kevy! thanks ady! your the best!!" they jumped up and hugged us and then ran off towards the brush.
"do they really not need us anymore?" I asked sounding kind of hurt
"are you kidding! of course they need us...but I think this is there way of showing us how much older they really are"
"haha yeah your right...watch one scare tonight and all of them will be in our beds tonight" I smiled
"I say we make this a bet...I say that they'll be brave and have no problems tonight...the one who loses buys breakfest in the morning on the drive home!"
These boys were BIG eaters!! Just one simple breakfest can sot us 100 bucks...cause they all want ONE of EVERYTHING!
"alright your on" we shook hands and I just prayed to god I won!

Nick's POV

An hour later we were all set and ready to go. We just left the camp ground and it was already 7:30...it gets dark about 8. We had packed drinks and snacks for later...along with mine and ben's stupid kits.
"ok guys..lets set up here" michael said taking off the backpack
"why here? were not staying here all night are we?" I asked scared...ok time out- I'm hecka nervous for this 'campout' for one...our two oldest brothers won't be here, leaving michael and joey in charge. Not that I'm not thrilled..but I feel that if a bear came to eat us...joey and mikey would throw ben and I first to die!
"yes here...and its only till 11...thats only, 3 and a half hours away. At 8 were going to go hiking but..."
"but what?" ben led on annoyed
"but were going to split up..us two and then you two are going another direction" joe finished
"what! no way! Ben and I HATE the dark...you can't do that to us!" I cried
"uh whose idea was it to go hiking..at night?"
"ours but...-"
"but nothing...you chose too"
"yeah so! I thought we were all hiking together!" I pouted...staying back with ady and kevy sounds funner and safer now.
"yeah we were...but your old enough to know where to go...and besides 11 and 14 year olds aren't afraid of the dark" Joe replied smugly...ugh I hate when he's grumpy!
"you know what Joe! get off your Period and stop bossing everyone around!" I yelled and turned to walk off
"aw come on nicky..were only playing" mikey smiled
"leave me alone...I don't wanta talk to you!" I was on the verge of crying..and I could feel that I was off. I dug in my bag and pulled out my meter and handed ben his. I pricked my finger and waited for it to beep.
193. I hate when its high! I gave myself and insulin shot, while I had the concerned stares of the older two..now they cared. I remained silent and only showed ben
