The proprietors of F.t Lauderdale's Modern Music have seen their fair share of fine instruments since the store's founding in 1970, so when they've got advice about a particular instrument, you can probably feel good heeding it. Like this Crafter SAC TMVS, for example. Knock-off or no, the SAC TMVS gets high marks from the Modern Music crew, vis a vis its comparable construction and relative affordability when compared with the Taylor T5 on which it's based.

I just bought the nylon string version with no extra pickup - killer quality, great sound, and beautiful playability. Best guitar Ive ever owned - picked it up new for $520. GREAT DEAL!! If youre thinking of one, youll be VERY happy. Get it.
