Where' d you find the receiver, Gunny?

@hajosiko Owning an original is illegal now thanks to that dumb William Hughes. Yes I agree that automatic weapons should be kept out of criminals' hands, but they almost always use handguns instead, and even if you ban those outright, they'll still get their hands on them. The end result? Crime doesn't decrease a whit, and aspiring collectors are forced by artificially high prices, to merely continue to aspire.

@markhellstone Uh, we all use real guns. Its not a reenactment with fake guns. We simply use blanks. No matter what era we do wether it be 1640 with matchlocks and flintlock muskets or 1940 with machine guns and bolt action rifles. They are all real. Its quite simple to put blanks in the gun and get the same fire and smoke and noise.

@scottishconfederate you bought a real gun for an reenactment?! thats pretty hardvore i must say

@Doppeldropper Curious if you could move to Finland and take all your guns? Wouldn't mind living in Europe, just love my collection.

@Airforce1Gunny ...Full automatic weapons are not illegal in Finland, but extremely hard to obtain.

Simo Hayha used this gun in single shot mode to snipe with. He made 200+ kills with this gun and 500+ kills with a M28.

How much does the gun weigh? I am buying one this week for WW2 reenacting.
Thats an american copy not a real suomi kp m/31 .The copy shoots only semi automatic ,probably has a folding bipod and the receiver is on the side of the gun and goes back and forward ,when its at the back of the gun in the original one and it doesnt move when shooting .

@hajosiko This is not a copy. It was made from a real gun and yes it is only semi. All of the parts are Finish made except for the receiver and a few parts in the trigger. It has no bipod.
