I think Claypool do funny things, but I don't really like it. Victor is very impressive, and is able to play whatever he wants with his panel of techniques. But his compositions are lame.

Marcus slap technique is not necesserly incredible, it's just cool. I prefer his jazz licks, when he's finger-playing.

But don't forget M² i a great composer and producer. Miles Davis did not do a mistake. I don't think Marcus sucks (even if you don't like him)

@inthe7thhouse Excuse me? the guitar is just as awesome as an instrument as the bass is. It just so happens to fall in the background in this genre of music, but that does NOT mean the guitar should alwyays be in the background.
