Fry me to the moon! Lochgelly shares the £30,000 Street Prize!

Residents in Jamphlars Road, KY5 0ND were left celebrating this week as Angus travelled to Lochgelly to deliver £30,000 in prizes and toast the success with a bag of chips!

£10,002 winners Luca and Maria Marini own the Golden Fry chip shop in Lochgelly and, once Angus has revealed their huge prize, they offered him and the Postcode Lottery team fish suppers on the house!

Thank you very much! said Luca, whilst his customers looked on. This will come in very handy but Ill have to talk to the wife before I decide what well spend it on!

Andrew and Patricia Gibson were equally as delighted to receive their New Year present from Angus. Ive got a feeling that 2010s just about to get better, said Andrew as he opened the door. And it did to the tune of £6,668!

Patricias response to plans for the money was instantaneous, too: Tenerife! she exclaimed when Angus quizzed her. With snow and ice still covering the Fife town, it was clear to see her thinking behind the holiday plans.

A few minutes later and a few doors down Jamphlars Road, Isabella Marshall revealed a cheque for £3,334, exclaiming: Youre joking thank you very much! Weve had a nice new year so far but this is the best!

With another couple of residents splitting the remainder of the £30,000 Street Prize and a further 337 Fifers sharing a £5,000 Sector Prize, it must have felt like a ray of sunshine had appeared over KY5 0.
