Call it keen eyes, but I see that something else is in this commercial. 0:08 has PCJ creme relaxer kits in the lye products section. It's just that subtle plug.

This product is still today in many beauty supply shops. Even now, some sixteen years later, I find it funnier because alkaline hair treatments are somewhat torturing.
