  • hey :

    thnx for uploading this video

i have question about final steps in this procedure

    didn't require any stitches ???

    best rgrds,

  • @malik201146

    Hi Malik,

Thanks for the comment - in response to your question, the procedure doesn't require stitches.

  • And I think she might have chosen a movie other than one about Nazi conentration camps to talk about during a potentially very painful medical procedure! This video really helped me to better appreciate my oncologist. She is very human - very warm, laughs easily and is not afraid to reassuringly touch or even hug her patients. Unfortunately she's moving to new Zealand in a couple of months, but I feel really blessed to have had her since my diagnosis of a rare blood disorder four years ago.

  • @professorprestodigit Hi Professor Prestodigit,

Thanks for your comment. I admit the choice of film is a little ironic, but really we were just discussing a film she most recently saw. I really didn't mind. It's too bad that your oncologist is moving - it sounds like you are in great care, and hopefully she will refer you to another warm, excellent physician.

  • I love helping people and I was considering donating marrow, but when I got hospitalized and had a bunch of test run on me, I haven't been fond of needles anymore. Watching this made my eyes tear up. my pain tolerance is pretty good, but when they are poking the same spot over and over again it reminds me of the pain I went through myself.. My arms were bruised for days and sore. Ugh, now I have some thinking to do. mmmmm

  • As for the regenerative medicine with the marrow self-administration from culture increase multiplies after bone marrow transplant, is epoch-making for the existence of own from the root; might be changed radically.

  • I work as all the matters that want to do in this reality world. Therefore was born; live, and there is. I save father too.

  • @zufarking93

    Hi zufarking,

Wow - 7 times, that's a lot... I'm sorry you've had to had them so often, that doesn't sound fun. May I ask why you have had to receive so many? Wishing you all the best.

  • i got one yesterday...it was my 7th time...kinda get used to it already.. :)

  • @aryadoroudian i cried.. ..and im a guy D':

  • Had four of these now along with a Hickman line removal, latest results showing in remission hope it stays that way, good luck to you and hope all goes well with your treatment

  • I had this done this morning. Honestly, it wasn't that bad for me. They numb your skin and the outside of the bone and none of that hurts. They can't numb the inside of the bone, so it does hurt a little bit when they're extracting the marrow, but it's really quick. It feels more weird than anything. I just took a deep breath, gritted my teeth, and it was over before I knew it. Good luck to anyone else who is having this done!
