You don't have to be religious to enjoy beautiful music !!

My aunt died today and I want to dedicate this song to her. I picked Angelis because I believe children have the purest of voices.

Probably the best version of this song. Love those quiet harmonies in the 2nd chorus

@HalfBloodRavenclaw Don't try to interpret Latin if you don't know it!
Pie Jesu--Kind Jesus
Qui tolllis peccata mundi: Who takes away the sins of the world
Dona eis requiem: Give them rest
Sempiternam: Eterally
-
"Pie Jesu is a motet derived from the final couplet of the Dies irae and often included in musical settings of the Requiem Mass." (From Wikipedia) Lloyd Weber made one arrangement of it but the piece is originally a part of the Requiem Mass as per the above

@HalfBloodRavenclaw agnus dei = lamb of God : )

SIMPLESMENTE DIVINO.
VOZES COMO ESTAS NOS ELEVAM AO CÉU.

@HalfBloodRavenclaw literal latin meaning of pie jesu is Pious Jesus which is the same as devote, faithful, and holy. I thought Dona eis requiem ment Give to them Rest.

=) Translation look up wikipedia ftw! allthough you should'nt use wikipedia as source. in most common idea it has a general good idea.
I'm not sure if either of us are incorrect, but (not trying to start anything at all, awesome song; we're doing it) I was told the translation was:
Pie Jesu- Holy Jesus
Qui tollis peccata mundi- (same thing minus the you)
Dona eis requiem- Give us rest
Sempiternam- Eternal
and Agnus Dei is the same.
Not trying to be mean, I was just pointing that out. Awesome video. :D

@HalfBloodRavenclaw Thank you...I made the video with lyrics in haste and did not put much research on the lyrics as I just googled it to get results as no one else had Angelis's version of this song on YT.

@GrandMasterGuess Actually the Lyrics are perfectly written, nice job. Pie is "Piedad" in spanish so is mercy. Qui tollis peccata mundi in spanish is "quita el pecado de todo el mundo" You who takes away the sins of the world.
Agnus Dei in spanish "Cordero de Dios" Lamb of God. So is correct. I sing this at my university and we have to learn it in latin, spanish and english..so is correct. Nice video!!
