I have played banjo for years and ever one says it is a right hand instrument, But dam it you gotta have something up stairs to play like this mad man.. People you are getting a treat to see a guy play like this..Enjoy it,, I sure have.. Go James

The title on the LP "Live at McCabe's" is "NUMBER FIVE" and the arrangement is credited to L- McNeely and M. Davich.

Sorry, the title in "Live at Mc Cabe's" is "NUMBER FIVE" and is credited to McNeely and Davich.

The piece is an arrangement Larry McNeely made of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony Ouverture. In "Live at Mc Cabe's" (with Jack Skinner e Geoff Levin) the piece is called "Beethoven's Fifth".

James McKinney is one of the best banjoist today but his non-music career has kept him out of the limelight. He is a true master of the banjo. This video was made many years ago.
