The Homestead Farm

Patricia and Peter Farrington purchased the The Homestead Farm 15 years ago. The farm dates back to the early 1700's and, although most of the acreage has been sold off, the Farrington live in the 1700 home and their cattle live in part of the 1700 barn. With the Wompanoag indian tribe planning on opening a casino next door to their farm and developers looking at other large tracks of and on historic Thompson Street, the Farrington's are fighting to preserve the historic rural nature of their street.
