In remembrance of Satya Jathar 1967 - 2011
This clip is from the documentary Road to Bhutan. Last year I edited this part of the documentary to its final state. I mentioned it to Satya. The song Traveller, written and sung by Linde Nijland, seemed perfect and together with the camera shots like a perfect dream. Satya fitted in naturally. He would guide us through India, used his resources whenever we were in trouble and blended in. That is what he did. He blended in. As much as he blended in this clip.
When I found out about his passing, I still could add the caption, remembering him, before the documentary was sent to the DVD factory.
Were others were talking respect, Satya showed the value of respect. I realize that I am too late to be able to let him see the result.
'...Let's go... You Dutch are always late...!'. He was right till the very end. I will always honor and remember him. Thank you dear Satya.
