Take Care-June Conquest {Windy-C/Cameo-Parkway 1967}

this tune has been one of my faves since I was 8 yrs. old!
"take care"/"all i need" (1967) was the first single ms. june conquest recorded for curtis mayfield's windy-c label. before that ,she actually recorded for fame records in the muscle shoals alabama area. but back to chicago:
under the production touch of mayfield,ms. conquest recorded "what's this I see" (1968) and "i thank you/"just another reason" (featuring and arranged by donny hathaway-recorded 1969 but released in 1972) both for the curtom label. i believe those are the last recordings she cut. this tune has the "chicago sound" wrapped all up in it and should have been a major hit in my opinion.
