Silver buying in this context is more like an insurance policy and not an investment. If you are concerned about the current & excelerating devaluation of all currencies then you need a real money commodity like gold/silver/copper to maintain the value of your savings before they are eaten away to nothing by the fiat curencies' hyperinflation. Do you expect your car or house insurance to give you a big profit?? NO. You expect it to insure you against a risk you find credible.

@CAngel57ful Congrats. Don't worry about valuation against currency. Watch as inflation keeps your silver par with real assets while currency flails. Silver is volatile because the market is small, but it is the goto hedge against inflation. Hyper peak for silver speculation is still months if not years away.

@TruthNeverTold dirty silver is not the same as fine silver that's taken from the ground and refined and accounts for the 700m ounces being mined today. Old dirty silver has already been accounted for and will not make any type of dent in the market today. apmex .com for me thanks
