  • Hi,

I want help on wacom bamboo tablet.....

As i am character artist & work with zbrush & need to deal with 2 to 3 mil polygons to get fine details....

So which pressure sensivity is best for it

512 or 1024 Or any other

  • @niksecrets Hey, definitely the higher the better. If you are gonna do some serious character design on ZBrush or photoshop for that matter I would consider trying the wacom intuos family. I have the Intuos 4 and it has 2048 levels. Also the customizable buttons make it a great purchase

  • Hey, do you think this is still the best tablet to get for working with zbrush? It's 1,200 on amazon. I'm not sure if they will be releasing anything similar in maybe an i7 with more sensitivity or better GPU anytime soon? What do you think? Thanks!

  • @ChimeraProd If you are thinking of a portable solution, yes it is. The best tablet out there for zbrush is definitely the cintiq 2. But, as you know, it's a desktop tablet. The Eee Slate gives you mobility. I use mine as my regular laptop. I work on animations, sketches and ZBrush on it, whenever I'm away from my desktop. I'm not sure when the next version of this will be out. It seems that Asus is still selling them this very well. If these were to drop price I would buy another one as backup

  • wich pen do you use ?

    mark? price ?

  • Does it have pressure sensitivity for programs like Photo Shop and ZBrush? Allowing you to build up strokes?

    Thanks for the video

  • Hi, your pen looks nice. Will it fit into original pen case on the EEE slate itself? (not the one in the holder)

  • hey can u run blender portable and say how its running?

  • are you having problems with heavier meshes in maya? it seems to me the intel gpu is to blame, but even if i subdivide a sphere to 100k, it becomes laggy when navigating the scene, and sculpting is downright impossible. I'l try updating the drivers, but i was wandering how your tablet performs? thanks
