@00pauli11, I HATE it when scenes in the trailers are not in the actual movie. the least the film-makers can do is to put the scenes on Blu-Ray & DVD with commentary explaining why the scenes were cut from the film. don't know if that's the case with this movie.

Never saw this movie... waiting for it to arrive at the library so i don't have to pay XD

@alwaysthecrazyperson Well it's not like they were like "hey we need to put in the witch again!!" and put it in randomly. It's there for a reason. You understand why in the movie.

@MrTWISTEDHUMORable Yes that is what they represent. For a long time C.S. Lewis was against fiction I heard but then he was told that not all fiction is bad and it can be used to spread messages such as those of God. So that's what he did.

Aslan represents Jesus. The four kids represent his disciples. Edmund betrayed aslan just as judas betrayed jesus. The witch does represent the devil. These books were a way for C.S. Lewis to tell about Jesus' story in a different, unique, and interesting way and get non believers interested.

@MrTWISTEDHUMORable I would say yes. Because having read the books and knowing what else C.S.Lewis has written he seems to be a very godly man. In addition to what you mentioned the never ending wave is a signal of eternity.

Im just asking but..does Aslan represent God? Do Lucy and edmund represent angels of his army, and does the white witch represent temptation/the devil?..i just had to ask because fantasy action thriller stuff aside..it kinda seems like that..I especially got that from the first one.Aslan coming from the dead and all after he was sacrificed.
To those complaining about the movie adaption of the book, keep in mind that C.S. Lewis has a specific writing style. He deliberately makes his stories thoughtfully vague so that the reader will develop the story in their own imagination. Therefore, each reader will have a DIFFERENT perception of the book, depending on their personal viewpoint. The movie will never please everyone for that reason, but I believe they've done it enough justice.
