ARTS: Superaxe from the Studio/Jazz Guitar Dept.

Superaxe, made up of students in the USC Thornton School of Music Studio/Jazz Guitar Department, perform for "Music Power 2007" at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach California. Professor Richard Smith, chair of the Studio/Jazz Guitar department introduces the group.

@Homerjay66666 isn't he the guitarist for anthrax??? Superaxe came to my school this year and were rippin. I think that maybe 1 of the guys are the same. Superaxe is definnately an interesting perf group. A guitar quartet playing more contempory type stuff.

The musicians that come out of Thornton aren't the end all and say all in music my friend. Granted, you guys have some rockin professors that I've had and will continue to have the privelege of studying with, but just cause you go there doesn't mean everything, and that goes for any school/conservatory. Working on my MM at CSUF with good friends of your professors.. see you in a year or so for my DMA over there. We can have a nice lil chat.
