    Gotta hand it to Namath, it takes a certain amount of charisma, confidence and swagger to get away with wearing pantyhose and not giving a single shit about what people thought about it.

    Hard to imagine someone like Steve Young doin' something like this eh? lol You know he was the guy they first asked to be Cameron Diaz' ex in 'There's Something About Mary?' He turned 'em down because he felt the content was too sexual for his clean image. Hence Brett Favre getting the part.

    Brett Favre would probably do this. Let's face it, Brett'd fuckin' do ANYTHING if he thought it would be a laugh.

    Props to Joe for actually going ahead and doin' it though. :)

    A significant part of the joke in this commercial, which people don't don't get these days, is that Namath was plagued with leg problems during his career, including fractures, which is one of the reasons he says "If Beauty Mist can make MY legs look good...."

    LOL? Joe Namath went into serious alcohol and drug rehab after that unfortunate sideline interview with Ms. Kolber of ESPN ten years ago. He apologized to her a few days later and said he was very humiliated.

    Alcoholism is never funny. It destroyed his marriages and his kids disowned him.
