How To Install RAM In A Powerbook

A class project I created to show "matching" in a short. Maybe someone will actually find this interesting.

Created in Final Cut Pro 6 - converted into MPG4 format (that explains the shitty quality).

I buy mine at Best Buy, but Tiger Direct and New Egg might be a bit cheaper. Buy third party RAM and install it yourself. This might void your warranty, but it's a LOT cheaper.

Just look under "About This Mac" and then "More Info", it will tell you the RAM model under "Memory"

Thanks! I did see that other sites recommend removing the battery first as well... (which is easy to do -- just put in a coin or screwdriver into the 'lock'/'unlock' slot, and it pops out)...

my powerbook's ram is ddr, but the ram you can purchase for a powerbook says it's ddr2. can it still work in my mac? thanks.

I'm sorry, but I have another question! The RAM for my Powerbook G4 is DDR, but the RAM for the Powerbook G4 you can purchase on the apple site says DDR2. I was wondering if it would work in my Mac? Thanks very much!
