@nicki446 She doesnt really have to stick that dismount because she hit everything and got a 7.0 start value. Plus, honestly, how much does she give away to the judges? Almost nothing, but the judges found over .8 in deductions which i find really stupid. Most people screwed up on their full spins. Shawn practically gives nothing away to the judges here so a step back for her wont cost her that much because of her high start value and her great execution form.

And she had one of the highest start values in this final so she can afford to take a step back because look how much she gives away to the judges. Practically nothing. She had a minor flicker on her layout, her step back, and if want to be really harsh you can deduct for her switch leap which was perfectly fine. So thats probably .2 to .3 in deductions

i like people who "dislike" videos acting like they're elite gymnasts and they're the ones who went to the olympics. Shawn Johnson is an awesome athlete and can flip circles around everyone (which she did since she won gold). Granted she isn't as flexible as Nastia but still she's great.....
