  • Think about the chooras in India- they are more backward and less understanding of basic equality than we are. Despite that the apus have managed to make democracy work- they took the constitutional form of government given by the Brits and not abandoned it. Frankly I have a great deal more faith in my own people than the apus. We have never allowed the system to take root. That's why I say that even if Zardari is a clown put there by idiot Musharraf- he should finish his term and be voted out!

  • @zulfiqar34 . I have been lived abroad a great deal longer than you; perhaps that's why I understand that true salvation for any society comes from from functioning institutions and a stable system of governance- not dictatorship. I also know that a good number of the politicians in Western nations are self serving and corrupt. The truth is that people know that the system is on autopilot to some extent. That's why a moron like Musharraf only destroys whatever little crappy system we have.Think.

  • @zulfiqar34 . I think you need to ask yourself what would happen if the US military's chief of staff or the UK's chief of military staff were to take over in a military coup. I can tell you that according to most constitutions, this is called an act of treason since an officer takes an oath to uphold the constitution of the land. I think you really have deluded yourself if you think that dictatorship is the key for Pakistan's betterment. You forget that the Quaid was a constitutional lawyer.

  • @Shammwow i have been living in the west for past 18 years and go back every year i see the changes and frustrations the pakistani people only know the power of the stick i think you really dont have a clue of what is really going on , you can argue as much as you want but i find your feedback very immature and inconclusive. you have been repeating the same thing everytime but there has been no proof.

  • @Shammwow do u have any prove that zardari was put ln the seat by musharraf...and what treason bullshit did musharraf do?? i think you need to go an read my notes as you are the one who is living in puff puff land we are not talkiing about effort to fix pakistan, and if u think that collective effort to fix pakistan ur mistaken. if people could fix pakistan collectively then there would never be dictatorship in the history.

  • @zulfiqar34 . The change will take place if we all learn to stop pointing fingers and do our own jobs honestly.Ever notice the people in Pak who always complain the most - invariably they themselves are the most corrupt and cheating. If everyone just did his duty and worried about himself, things would settle on their own and it wouldn't matter if any idiot were in charge. Change the society by changing yourself and doing what you can do. That is why I support Imran Khan before some dictator.

  • @zulfiqar34 . The fact is that Zardari is there because Musharraf put him there to protect his dictator ass from charges of treason. The problem with your type of thinking is that you think some superman will come in and fix Pakistan whereas all Pakistanis have a collective responsibility to fix Pakistan. There is no short cut. I live in the West and we see that all politicians are self serving charlatans. What matters is the system and stability. An illiterate clown like Mush only spoils Pak

  • @Shammwow as to your last point, the only way we can change pakistan is people need to come out in millions and spil our blood on the streets before any major change can take place. We need to finish the feudal system and political party system, when i walk around the city, i see flags of all political parties but not a single flag of pakistan, depressing. we require right people for the right job but unfortunately all finger printers are sitting in the govt. we need these changes for pakistan
