In this tutorial, I show you how to quickly convert a color photo to black and white, then easily select the areas that you would like to remain in color.

Using a layer mask makes this process extremely fast. Start to finish can be done in under 30 seconds.

  • @photoshopsamurai Thanks man! but when i hold the mouse button to brush the area that i want to get the color, as soon i release the mouse button it comes back to black and white, what am i missing here?
