Those are some cool lookin BNSF Metra cars!

@KCSLines No. Metra And Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Company Had Not Merged. Metra Has A Line From Aurora To Chicago As Seen Here Which Metra Has Trackage Authority Over Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Trackage Which The Equipment Is Operated By Metra But The Train Crew Including The Conductor And Engineer On This Line Are An Employee Of The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Company Which Might Explain The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Logo On The Siding Of Each Passenger Car.

nice catch with the CP es44dc on train Z-SSECHC!
-
the newer metra cars were made by the Japs by a company called Nihon Shayro i think the older cars look better though!
-
I saw that Southwest Chief with the private car the day before.
-
the cars with bigger windows are newer cars

Damn, you actually HAVE stuff running by your platforms...unlike me. I'll be lucky to catch a local job in daylight where I'm at on the NEC.

metra runs trains over BNSF so BNSF crews operate metras trains as far as i know. so thats why the logo is there. thats all KCS dude.
-

i think only the Metra BNSF Line trains have the BNSF logo painted on their carriages.
