Haha, dang you guys don't hold back! While the comments are highly entertaining, I feel the need to respond before PETA shows up at my doorstep. Indeed this was not Jaxx's first meeting with the underside of the couch, and while my brother could have simply lifted the couch, that would have made for a pretty dull video.

...Oh and don't try to hide it, everyone loves a little Enrique...so put your sense of humor pants on and try watching again :)

the dog probably got caught under there many times before and got out the same way with help from the bigger dog, so the owner probably wasnt worried and decided to get the camera out and share this with us all instead

@rmsparrow /I sincerely apologize! I made the mistake presuming that the pup was put under the couch for fun. I am not so sure if -nothing- should be done to help kids, puppies, whoever, when they get themselves into tough situations. It depends on whether they can injure themselves when wriggling themselves free. Also, I know that our dogs don't like to be laughed at when they've gotten themselves in some kind of serious trouble. Anyway, I don't assume the worst in ye/you at all! Kind regards!

@kmsparrow12 / I won't watch it again. It is distressing to see the puppy under the couch and coming out from under the couch, especially raising concern about her/his spine and also the legs. I am afraid this is having fun based on ignorance, like thinking that dogs' spines are made of rubber without nerves, as well as that such situations like being repeatedly put in prison under the couch by the people you love and then being laughed at do not cause confusion/trauma. Food for thought!

Great video! Many scientists argue that empathy is a high-level emotion reserved only for humans. It video really illustrates (and proves, in my mind) the empathetic nature of animals - including dogs. ...oh, and the pooches are absolutely adorable!
