@seanthefriendlywhale They also use to vault without a spring board or beat board, they would just jump off the floor. I don't believe there is a clip in my montage, but there are videos on youtube somewhere.

omg you should look up 1930's gymnastics they would get on the bars and pose then move and pose and they only did roundoffs on the floor
