The Institute of General Semantics functions as the center for training in Non-Aristotelian methods. Each year it offers several intensive short courses and a four-week Seminar-Workshop in the summer.
Among the enrollees are teachers, physicians, scientists, engineers, artists, businessmen, housewives, etc. They believe that Non-A methods, when applies, will help solve many critical human problems, as well as clarity research problems in the natural and social sciences.
This film shows what some of these students see and do as a Seminar-Workshop. The site--a school near the Institute headquarters which was leased for this course. The dates--two week-ends in summer, 1948.
