Yep. I recall watching an interview w/ Ellefson a while back when he was still in Megadeth. He mentioned in it how he went a bit nuts w/ the credit card... living the R&R life. Not really keeping track of his spending... knowing he can always make up the difference being in Megadeth. Well, the meal ticket has expired... If youre no long on the payroll any more, I can see how it would drive some to get their hands in the pocket another way.

That really is too bad. I can understand that it must be hard to put up with shit as a song writer/ writing the hits cause ppl want to control it. as in old school CCR when they told Fogerty how to write and the direction, and after getting pissed he said "fine." the record totally flopped. then Tom quit. Members quit Megadeth for the same reasons. Dave has a strong personality. BUT, the others wouldn't be anyone without Dave either. Ellefson kept them togeather "The glue" he deserves more

Its such a shame what happened between Mustaine and Ellefson, those two were so good together on stage, and the albums they recorded are amazing, and then it all goes downhill because of legal actions and money....grrr
