But if you study history like I have, no matter how much Japan has changed, we can't forget that WW2 was not the first time their military tried to conquer China, Korea, and the rest of Asia. What if a hundred years passed and they attack again, killing millions more? Should we just forgive them over and over again and hope they will change forever, eventually? I know Japan has much to be admired, but I mean, they were allies with Adolf Hitler...

@Falamu445 While I applaud how you treat the Filipinos, Koreans and other Asians as equal, I can't help but feel you are singling out the Japanese as monsters that the Asian front led by "China" should fight against.
Are you a Chinese national or American/Canadian/Australian? I think the Japanese have come a long way from their imperialistic past and deserve total respect. They were victims too. We should learn from the past and embrace not fight.

My grandpa who passed away last year was in the Republic of China Army. He fought the Japanese and the Communists. Note that this is completely different from the People's Liberation Army of the modern communist China that took power in 1949.
Though, war is cruel. There is no winner in war.
