  • Well Done! Would you mind if I make one or 2 suggestions:

You need to be really accurate with the rhythm in this piece. Play through it with a metronome and get every note is in strict time. Only then introduce rubato where KL indicates, keeping the underlying pulse consistent.

Registration: The reeds muddy the sound. I'd suggest a brighter and clearer registration that make the chords clearer.

Work on the articulation, as what KL wrote is a bit counter-intuitive and needs careful work!

  • Thanks.

  • I know this give me goose pimples when I played this back on my PC. I haven't played this for a spell, it took me about 4 Takes fluffed it! The only mistake I made here was at the very end on the pedal note!!

  • Magnificant!!that was,its better i think to have the camera as you say at the back of church, pipe organs always sound better when your at the back of a building but i still prefer to have that interaction between player & audience, when Jennifer Bate came down to give a recital a few yrs ago at Truro Cathedral, you could watch her playing on six massive tv screens,it made all the difference.
